Having showcased his ability in Burnley’s youth teams, the next step in Casper’s development will be gaining first-team experience in League Two with Grimsby.
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson also spent a loan spell at Grimsby back in 2016. Casper will hope that his move can help his career follow a similar trajectory to that of the current Crystal Palace keeper.

The Mariners currently have 30-year-old Christy Pym as their number one and 18-year-old Sebastian Auton as second choice. With three goalkeepers on the books, Casper will face healthy competition for the starting spot as he looks to gain valuable experience for his career progression.
