The Bluebirds have contacted the 29-year-old’s representatives as they look to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes.

Ledson only joined Huddersfield in 2025, arriving on a free transfer from Preston North End, so this would be a fairly quick turnaround if Cardiff manage to get a deal done.

He brings plenty of EFL experience after spending several years at Preston and has since become an important part of Huddersfield’s midfield.

Ledson has built a reputation for consistency and reliability, which makes Cardiff’s interest understandable as they look for a player who could come straight into the side and make an immediate impact.
