
According to Aidan Fitzmaurice at the Irish Independent, Celtic are closely monitoring the situation of Evan Ferguson at Roma. The Giallorossi are reportedly looking to offload various players to free up wages for incoming signings such as Joshua Zirkzee.

The 21-year-old has started just 10 league games, scoring three times in Serie A, as well as a brace against Celtic in the Europa League. Ferguson is only on loan to Roma from Brighton, and manager Fabian Hürzeler recently spoke on the striker, saying: “He has the potential to help us as a club… Not it’s about him to show it”. Ferguson recently said he feels more settled in the Italian capital, but the forward could be swapping Rome for Celtic.
