Celtic fan favourite Kyogo Furuhashi is set for a sensational return to Parkhead according to multiple reports. The Japanese forward left last January to Rennes in France, but struggled to secure gametime in Ligue 1.
It led to an eventual transfer to English Championship side Birmingham City, who currently sit 14th. Kyogo has started seven games for Birmingham, but fans there have quickly turned against the 30-year-old with his regular misses from close range.

Sources claim that Furuhashi could return as quickly as before Celtic's game against Dundee United. Celtic is clearly calling out for a clinical finisher, with Johnny Kenny scoring just four goals from his 6.7xG thus far in the Premiership.
With the forward struggling for form, could a return to Paradise be exactly what the forward needs ahead of the World Cup next summer, where he will be hoping to be in Japan squad.
