Champions League Winner Set For Move To Celtic

According to Anthony Joseph at Sky Sports, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is set to complete his move to Celtic tomorrow with a medical booked, as Martin O’Neill confirmed in his pre-match press conference ahead of Celtic’s Scottish Cup tie against Dundee.

The 32-year-old was a vital figure at both Liverpool and Arsenal, playing almost 350 games between the two clubs. Oxlade-Chamberlain hasn’t played a competitive game since last May and has been a free agent since August. He could bring some much needed experience and calmness to the Celtic midfield, but it is to be seen how long it will take for him to get up to fitness.
