Chelsea Interested in Europa League Final Hero

According to Calcio Mercato, who Football Park rate as a tier two source, Chelsea are interested in bringing Ademola Lookman to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Nigerian forward is no stranger to the Premier League, spending time at Everton, Fulham and Leicester previously. However, since his €10 million move to Atalanta, Lookman has seriously kicked on.

He’s bagged 32 goals and teed up 18 assists in all competitions since he signed in 2022, including an impressive Europa League final hattrick against the treble-hungry Bayer Leverkusen. It’s safe to say his heroics against Die Werkself caught the attention of potential suitors across the globe.

Chelsea, under new boss Enzo Maresca, are reportedly interested in bringing the Super Eagle to Stamford Bridge after missing out on the signing of Michael Olise, who seems to be headed to Bayern Munich.

Atalanta are somewhat keen to keep hold of some of their gems from such a successful campaign, and much like Teun Koopmeiners, they’ve slapped a €60 million price tag on Lookman.

With Chelsea reportedly in PSR trouble, they’d have to value Lookman immensely in order to part with such a large sum for the player, but anything can happen.
