Chelsea Show Interest in Marc Guiu

According to Guillem Balague, who Football Park rate as a tier three in reliability, Chelsea have shown an interest in signing FC Barcelona’s Marc Guiu.

The 18-year-old striker has been with Barcelona since his youth and has played for Spanish third tier club, Barça Atlétic, in the past season.

However, he gained attention for his convincing performances, and played for Barcelona’s first team three times in La Liga and twice in the Champions League, where he managed to score against Royal Antwerp in the group stage, last season.

Chelsea have now apparently been asking about the young striker and are considering buying him through his rumoured €6 million release clause.

Officially, Guiu still has a contract with the Spanish side until 2025.

While other clubs like Sevilla and Bayern Munich have recently also been linked to the striker, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for the Spanish youngster.
