Cheltenham find themselves in a strange position as they look to bring back midfielder Isaac Hutchinson. He re-joined Bristol Rovers at the start of this month after his loan and looked like he would spend the rest of the season there.
However, according to Jon Palmer on X, that isn’t the case as now. After playing 132 minutes back at Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham look to have had a change of heart and are now looking for him to come back. He has only been there for 4 matches playing in 3 of those matches, however, looks like that is all he will play there.

After a good start with Cheltenham, it looks like they have had a change their mind and now want the 25-year-old back at the club for the rest of the season.
The midfielder finds himself in a difficult situation as he would’ve left the club and expected to see out the rest of the season without having to have any issues that come with the deal. However, it looks like now Cheltenham want him back at the club after enjoying his time on loan.
The big question now comes with the time left in the window. They have very limited time to be able to get this deal done and over the line, if they have left it to late, then the loan will fall through, and he will spend the rest of the season at his parent club.
Elsewhere in League Two, Barnet have landed a loan for Millwall’s young talent for the rest of the season as they look to have a late charge.
Isaac Hutchinson has had a very good season with Cheltenham and would likely be happy to rejoin them if they are able to get the deal done. With 6 goals and 2 assists he will want to build on that with them.
