Uruguay have a huge task ahead of them for their semi-final against Colombia in the Copa America Semi-Final.

This fixture has the potential to be one of the entertaining games of the tournament because Uruguay have the best defensive record after conceding only one goal.

Colombia are the best attacking teams and they have slotted 11 goals into back of the net in Copa America.

Coming into the game, Colombia are currently on unbeaten streak of 27 games and don’t look like losing anytime soon.

Colombia head coach Néstor Lorenzo has not taken notice of the record and only has focus on the next opposition.

He said, “To have a good Copa America is to win it, it is not an abstract concept. The objective is to win every game we play, and the boys know that.”

Colombia progressed easily to the semi-finals by beating Panama 5-0 as for Uruguay knocked out Brazil 4-2 on penalties shootout after 0-0 at the end of the game.

(Colombia) Los Cafeteros have been one of the exciting teams and this has been helped by the form of James Rodriguez.

Rodriguez has won three man of the match awards in this competition, contributing five assists and one goal.

Prior to the tournament, people were doubting what version of James they will be seeing for Copa America because on his day he dominates any game he is in the mood.

Uruguay coach Marcel Bielsa is aware of Colombia’s attacking threat and he said, “Colombia has many forwards, which is not common today. There is more than one option for each level without much difference.”
