Could Ivan Toney Be On His Way To Old Trafford?

Manchester United look poised to sign a striker this summer to partner Rasmus Hojlund.

Many names have been thrown out there as to whom it may be but now, tier three rated journalist by Football Park, @SamC_reports has suggested Ivan Toney is the newest name on their list.

Toney is currently away at the Euros with England following a very successful return to football.

Since his return to Brentford, Toney has scored four goals in seventeen appearances. But we all know what he is capable of having scored 20 in the league the season prior.

Erik Ten Hag is believed to like the player and is very keen on signing him this summer. Therefore United are expected to continue work and due diligence on him.

If the Red Devils do go in for the 28 year old it is expected that they will have to pay up to €50 million for him - as his evaluation from Transfermarkt suggests.

Arsenal are another club believed to be interested in Toney, especially after the apparent collapse of the deal between them and RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.
