Köln were in danger last season, finishing just three points away from relegation. However, they are looking to survive this season, and one way they are hoping to do that is by bringing in European champion Sosa.

The Crystal Palace full-back will be returning to Germany after spending six years there with Stuttgart.
The 28-year-old didn’t get much game time in England but had a lot more to offer when playing in Europe. He played 300 minutes during Palace’s success in the Conference League, and Köln will be hoping that confidence will help them survive.
While England didn’t work out well, his time in Germany was a different level, with 39 goals and assists in his six seasons from left-back. He will be hoping those numbers return and help his new side survive.
