Dean Brennan Slates Barnet Fans in Post-Match Interview
Following their win over Altrincham, Barnet boss Dean Brennan gave a passionate post match interview.
The Bees conceded early on via Justin Amaluzor, and the fans made clear their discontent with the performance. However, the Barnet side never lost faith and grabbed an equaliser just 13 minutes later thanks to Harry Chapman.
Then, in extra time, Rhys Browne popped up with an all important goal to secure Barnet the victory.

The late goal took Barnet to sixth in the National League, within two points of first place.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Brennan said:
“I don’t like the moans and groans from the supporters.
“We’ve just played six games without a recognised centre-forward, and I think our level of performance has been outstanding. If they (the barnet fans) don’t want that, I’ll move on.”
Brennan continued: “I’m delighted for the players, and delighted for the supporters that came up to Gateshead and clapped us off.
“If they’re going to be negative, go somewhere else and be negative.”
Brennan then gave a message to the supporters who leave negative comments on social media platforms like Instagram and X: “I’ve got young lads reading social media, there’s stuff on social media going against my goalkeeper, does that help?
He followed up with a reminder of how far his Barnet side has progressed: “Just relax, I know what I’m doing. I took over this team on the bottom of the table, have a look where you are now.
“Any fan who wants to see me, my doors open.”
Brennan was asked how important it would be to keep the Hive as somewhat of a fortress, where opposition teams dread to play, he responded: “It would help if we could get more than 900 supporters here.
“It would help us get a centre-forward if people start buying more tickets.
“Come here, spend your money and get this place rocking,”
In that train of thought, Barnet have offered a promotion on tickets for the Bees’ game against AFC Fylde. In order to encourage more fans to turn up, tickets for the clash will be available for just £5.
