The Ghanaian winger has been subject of a lot of interest from championship clubs with Birmingham City heavily interested in the player before pulling out of the deal with Liam Miller more likely to join the Blues.

In the spirit of opportunity Derby County have now picked up from Birmingham left off on working with the deal with Union Saint Gilloise and the player. Dominic Dietrich first broke the news as the Ghanaian looks set on leaving the Belgian club.

Fuseini was left out of the squad ahead of the Apache’s 3-0 demolition win against Anderlecht this past Sunday at home.

The 23-year-old will be looking to regain the form he showed in his debut season at Union SG in the 2024/25 season earning the winger eleven goals and one assist in 44 appearances.

Could be just what the doctor ordered

Derby County travel down to Portman Road tonight to face Portsmouth with the Rams yet to win this season. Fuseini may be just what the doctor ordered if Derby wish to regain the form that made them just miss out on play-off spots last season on the final day.
