Everton Have Balogun to Panic

The Toffees are making a late, hopeful attempt at luring out-of-favour Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee to Merseyside, as reported by TalkSport's Alex Crook.

The Dutchman has already rejected a move to Fiorentina, opting to stay at Manchester United.

However, reports in the last few minutes suggest the move, which would be a loan, is close to being agreed.

Everton looked set to coplete the signing of USA and Monaco striker Folarin Balogun however, complications with the medical have forced the Premier League side to turn the attention elsewhere.

Balogun would've no doubt been a sensational forward signing to complement Barry for Everton but it seems not to be.

Could this be a potential lifeline for the toffees especially after the loss of talisman Iliman Ndiaye to Manchester City which has now been finalised and confirmed by both clubs.

Iliman Ndiaye has signed for Manchester City on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
