Family Will Not Share - Nottingham Forest Sister Club Won't Share Their New Player
It’s modern football, and all clubs have a sister club. Forest is no different. However, this time it might have damaged them rather than benefited them.
Olympiacos has signed off a record transfer today, and it was originally rumoured that the deal would go through Nottingham Forest. However, Gustavo Puerta will be signed as an Olympiacos player for a record fee of £20 million.

The deal is expected to be worth at least €20 million.
Despite earlier reports suggesting the transfer could be completed via Nottingham Forest (#NFFC), Olympiacos will ultimately sign Puerta… pic.twitter.com/uX4d0XPxBM
Puerta is the most expensive Greek player in history, and that will always look nice for any club to have. It could have been Forest, but no. This time, family has had enough and won’t share their success with the older sibling.
Puerta will land in Greece for his final step before becoming an Olympiacos player. How long will he stay there before Forest look to snap him up? Well, only time will tell.
