Match Preview: Servette vs Chelsea - Expert Analysis

Chelsea face Servette in the second leg of the final round of Europa Conference League qualifiers, after the blues won the first leg 2-0 at Stamford Bridge. After this match, we will know the final teams for the league stage of the competition, with the draw set to take place on Friday.

Servette vs Chelsea Standings

Servette know anything less than a victory isn't enough and they need at least a two-goal margin to stand a chance at progressing to the League stage. Servette are five games into their domestic league having played three more matches than Chelsea have in the Premier League. Despite starting well, Servette have lost back to back matches and currently sit in 7th with nine points out of a potential 15.

After just two games in the Premier League Chelsea's place in the table shouldn't mean much, especially considering they had to face Manchester City on the opening weekend. However, Blues fans will be in much better spirits after a Noni Madueke second half hat trick inspired Maresca's side to a phenomenal 6-2 win over Wolves. Chelsea currently sit in 8th with three points from a potential six and a goal difference of +2.

Servette vs Chelsea head to head

The two sides have only met once, with that meeting being last week's first leg, so going off that match, we should expect Chelsea to dominate this one and win again, especially with the confidence from the weekend.

Servette vs Chelsea Player to Watch

The player to watch for this match is Joao Felix. The newest signing of many for Chelsea this summer scored on his second Bkues debut on the weekend and could make his first start since signing in this match. Marc Guiu failed to impress last week and missed an open goal in the first leg. With the former Atleti forward now amongst Chelsea's forwards they can finish Servette off with a confident performance in front of goal.
