Tosin’s contract at Craven Cottage is up at the end of June, and despite Fulham’s constant attempts to tie him down, he couldn’t refuse the offer to join Chelsea as a free agent.
Newcastle United also expressed interest in the ball playing centre-back, but Tosin chose to head to Stamford Bridge instead.
According to Sky Sports, medical tests are scheduled for next week before Tosin signs a long-term deal with Chelsea.
It’s safe to assume this business is a result of Enzo Maresca’s recent appointment as Blue’s boss, since Tosin played under Maresca in the Manchester City youth set up.
Fulham will be disappointed to lose a high-value player for free. However, they have expressed interest in bringing Chelsea central defender, Trevoh Chalobah, to Craven Cottage as Tosin’s replacement.

Although there is competition in this case,
Fulham’s going to push during the window to make it happen.
