Fulham Eye Potential Palhinha Replacement
As per reports from Darmesh Sheth and Lyall Thomas, both rated tier one sources by Football Park, Fulham have reignited their interest in Andre Trindade.
Fulham have chased the Fluminese star over the course of the last two windows, but have fallen short each time. With Joao Palhinha now seemingly heading to Bayern Munich, it seems the Cottagers will have no choice but to step up in their chase for the Brazilian.
Palhinha, who joined Fulham from Sporting back in 2022, has been a long term target for the German giants. He had a move collapse on deadline day of the transfer window last summer, as Fulham had failed to find a replacement.
Despite signing a new contract in South-West London, Palhinha looks to finally be getting his dream move to Bayern in the coming days.

Fulham are assessing potential replacements for the Portuguese, and as expected, they are set to return for Brazilian international Andre.
The 22-year-old has been subject to interest from clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, as more and more clubs look to harvest the never-ending well of Brazilian talent.

Andre is a different profile to the ‘destroyer’ build that Palhinha fits. Instead of tenacious ball winning, Andre is a more established passer. He has desirable defensive qualities too, but his real strength lies in dropping deep and using his wide range of passing to progress the ball.
As Fulham establish themselves in the Premier League, they might even benefit from having someone a bit more comfortable on the ball in midfield than Palhinha.
