Everton Bid Rejected for Fulham Star

Fulham have rejected an approach from Premier League rivals Everton for their star player Harry Wilson, as per BBC Match of the Day.

The 28-year-old has been Fulham's standout performer this season, registering nine goals and five assists in all competitions, so it is no wonder why he is on the wanted list by many top clubs, with Everton most fond on the Welshman.

Everton especially, looking out for an attacking midfielder or winger to be able to both create and produce goals at a rapid rate. They have found just 26 goals this season, and it has clearly been holding them back in terms of being able to put together a serious challenge on to the top seven.

Cottagers to Hold on to Wilson this Winter

It comes with no surprise that Marco Silva is reluctant to let go of his star man, although the Cottagers will have to deal with potentially letting him go on a free transfer this summer, with his contract due to expire at the end of the ongoing season.

Wilson arrived at the Cottage back in 2021, and after contributing to 31 goals in his first season in the Championship, he is currently experiencing his best return in the topflight.

The ex-Liverpool youngster scored against his former club already in January, in what has been a very productive month, scoring four goals in his last five games - it is no surprise why he is such a wanted man.
