Turkish football is something that has taken on somewhat of an overhaul in the past few seasons.
Once viewed as a one-last-payday destination for aging superstars chasing a final bit of sunshine and a healthier wallet before calling it a day, the league's quality has taken on a remarkable upkeep in quality with a number of high-value players from across the rest of Europe making their way over to Turkiye.
Galatasaray have been arguably leading the charge on that front, boasting a squad dripping with quality and big names alike with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Ilkay Gundogan plying their trade on the Gala side of Istanbul's "big three".
Such quality is being noticed from beyond, with two un-named Premier League sides chasing after Galatasaray's star defender.
Wilfried Singo is the man in question that has been linked alongside reports tagging him with a potential move to the Premier League, either in January or at the end of the season.
Galatasaray's president has not been shy, confirming that Singo was subjected to interest from two English clubs, but has reportedly set an asking price north of £60m for Singo's signature.
Singo, a 24-year-old right-sided defender from the Ivory Coast, only joined Gala this summer after spending two seasons in Ligue 1 with AS Monaco, and starting his career in Italy with Torino to much acclaim.
Though only a new face at RAMS Park, Singo could be tested with a potential move away from Turkiye so soon after his arrival, but the administration at Galatasary will surely hold firm on one thing - a lofty asking price.
