Guirassy Set To Leave Stuttgart This Summer

24/06/24 11:05

According to Sky Sports in Germany, who Football Park rate as a tier one in reliability, VfB Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy will leave the German side this summer.

The forward has been with the club since 2022 but went on loan to Stade Rennais at the start of his contract. He therefore only played one season for the Schwaben but he impressed enough that plenty of big clubs now want to sign him.

As a forward, he helped Stuttgart finish second in last year’s Bundesliga season which was a success that no one would have expected beforehand.

In the past season, Guirassy scored 28 goals in 28 matches. This, the second most goals scored by an individual in the 2023/24 season. The only player who was able to beat that was Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane with 36 goals.

Apparently, Stuttgart tried everything in their power to keep Guirassy, who technically still has a contract until 2026, but the Guinea international told the club that he wants to leave.

As of now, his three options are Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan.

Bayern and Chelsea were also interested in signing the forward but according to Sky Germany, those transfers will definitely not go through.
