Hearts agree 'significant fee' for Dutch Defender
Reports say Hearts are closing in on the signing of Dutch right back Jordi Altena from Keuken Kampioen Divisie side RKC Waalwijk.
Per Anthony Joseph, the defender is travelling to London today to undergo a medical ahead of the his move to Tynecastle. It is understood that a significant fee has been agreed between the clubs as well as add-ons, and a sell-on clause.
Altena has made 21 appearances for the Dutch second tier side, finding the back of the net on 2 occasions, plus assisting 5 times.
If all goes to plan, we could see Altena make his debut for the Gorgie side against Livingston at Tynecastle on the 3rd of January.
