22nd April 2024 - AC Milan 1-2 Inter Milan - Italian Serie A

The most recent Milan derby was certainly an interesting affair.

Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram put the blue side of Milan ahead before Fikayo Tomori scored an 80th minute goal to give Milan some hope. It wasn’t to be though with Inter coming away with the victory.

After the 90th minute though THREE red cards were shown as Theo Hernandez, Denzel Dumfries and Davide Calabria were all sent off.

To make things all the better this win confirmed the title for Inter Milan! What a way to do it.

16th September 2023 - Inter Milan 5-1 AC Milan - Italian Serie A

The game before that was even more entertaining with a whole host of goals. Inter blew away AC scoring five goals.

A double from Henrikh Mkhitaryan as well as goals from Marcus Thuram, Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Frattesi ruled out a 57th minute goal from Rafael Leao.

Will the same thing happen this time around?

16th May 2023 - Inter Milan 1-0 AC Milan - UEFA Champions League

The second leg of their UEFA Champions League battle (we’ll mention the first in a moment) saw Inter come away with yet another win against AC.

Prolific Argentinan goal scorer Lautaro Martinez’s goal was enough to see Inter take away the win and progress into the Champions League final.

10th May 2023 - AC Milan 0-2 Inter Milan - UEFA Champions League

I told you we would mention the first leg shortly after.

The first leg of their Champions League clash ended with a 2-0 victory for Inter Milan thanks to goals from Edin Dzeko and Mkhitaryan.

This was a very entertaining and even fixture despite the two goal difference between the sides but Inter were able to claim victory and put themselves in good stead heading into the previously mentioned second leg.

5th February 2023 - Inter Milan 1-0 AC Milan - Italian Serie A

In the exact same fashion as the last 1-0 Milan Derby we mentioned, Inter Milan were victorious in February 2023 in the league thanks to a well taken goal from Martinez.

This one could have and arguably should have seen more goals for Inter who took 15 shots on goal to AC’s 4 in that match as well as holding 65% possession of the ball to Milan’s 35%.
