Ipswich Town youngster Finley Barbrook is reportedly close to joining League One side Lincoln City on loan, according to Ben Jacobs.
Barbrook, 20, is set for his second career loan after his season-long spell at National League side Sutton United last season. Ipswich will be eager for the midfielder to continue his development and gain important playing time this campaign.
After finding his pathway to first team minutes hindered by the summer arrivals of Azor Matusiwa and more recently Marcelino Nunez, Barbrook's potential temporary switch to Lincoln will be a valuable experience for his long-term development.

Lincoln, who have made a solid start in League One so far, will no doubt be eying a play-off push this campaign and will be hoping the potential arrival of the Ipswich midfielder can help sustain their efforts in achieving this.
Featuring in Town's cup-tie at Bromley earlier this month, Barbrook will be one of the many expected departures from Portman Road before the transfer window slams shut, with a busy final few hours expected at Portman Road.
