Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, better known to fans as KSI or JJ, has a lot of titles to add to his name; he is a YouTuber, business owner, musician, boxer and Britain's Got Talent judge but now he can add Football Club Co-owner to this list following his purchase of a minority stake in Dagenham & Redbridge.
The club has described bringing KSI onboard as "its most significant strategic partnership to date" and it will see him join as a shareholder and strategic partner in the club, according to their website.
I’m so excited to start this journey. It’s gonna be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge (@Dag_RedFC) back to the glory days. For those of you that are OG fans (Race to Division One), you’ll know that this is a full circle moment for me. So join me… pic.twitter.com/GosGKRtPR6

On Tuesday it was announced that managing director Stephen Thompson would stand down from his role at the end of March following 45 years of service at the club, aligning with the takeover of the club by the Happy Fan Group.
Currently the side sits 13th in the National League South following their relegation into the league at the end of last season; however, new owner JJ has made clear his plans to help elevate the side back to the big leagues.
“I’m so excited to start this journey. It’s going to be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge back to the glory days. And once we reach that point, I want to go even further.
"Reaching the Premier League would be a dream. And I believe it is 100% doable.
"It will take a long time, so to the Daggers fans, please be patient. I want you to know that I am fully committed to making sure Dagenham and Redbridge is a team that everyone will know worldwide and will be an exciting team to watch and support."
One of the major upsides in bringing JJ on board with the Daggers' project is the inevitable eyes he can put towards the club; he boasts having 17.3m subscribers on his own personal channel and 22.9m on The Sidemen channel, of which he is a co-founder and member.
Bro was doing the Dagenham RTG back in FIFA 12 Career Mode and now wants to do it in real life 😂 https://t.co/tmHKRkDK5G pic.twitter.com/YelQ1AhH73

KSI is not the only name investing in the club following their takeover by Happy Fan Group; however, current player and former West Ham, Newcastle and Liverpool man Andy Carroll has also invested into the side.
Nobody can really predict what will happen with the takeover of Dagenham & Redbridge and how KSI will be as a strategic partner of the club but what we can say for certain is how interesting it will be to watch.
