Leicester Set to Sign Fulham Star for Free

According to John Percy for The Telegraph, who Football Park rate as a tier one source, Leicester are closing in on the signing of Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

De Cordova-Reid’s contract at Fulham expired this summer, and despite the Cottagers offering him a new deal, he’s decided to look for a new challenge in the Premier League.

The Jamaica international joined Fulham from Cardiff City in 2019, and has made 209 appearances, bagging 50 goal contributions.

It’s a great signing for Leicester, who are limited financially, as they look to bolster their squad after promotion. De Cordova-Reid offers three seasons of Premier League experience, as well as operating as somewhat of a Swiss army-knife. Primarily a winger, the Jamaican can play in nearly every position on the pitch, he’s filled in all over Fulham’s midfield as well as at full back.

It’s safe to assume Reid will be a useful player for the Foxes, who lifted the Premier League title back in 2016, as they try to re-establish themselves in the Premier League.
