Liverpool Linked with Promising Benfica Star

It is very late on in this transfer window, but Liverpool are now linked with a move for Benfica defender who has been on the radar of several clubs including Manchester City.

It is no surprise that Liverpool will be looking to bolster their defense following on from what has been a disappointing season so far for the club.

The long term injury to Conor Bradley means that they are short of cover at right-back which is where this signing could come in.

Amar Dedic could be Heading to Anfield

Amar Dedic is a 23-year-old right back currently playing for Benfica and there has been a lot of talk surrounding him throughout this January Transfer Window.

Dedic made the move to Portugal from RB Salzburg in the summer and has hit the ground running straight away for Jose Mourinho's side. There has been a lot of interest in Dedic in recent years from the likes of Newcastle, Chelsea and Manchester City.

The Boznian full back is under contract at Benfica until 2030 but his performances have now caught the eyes of Liverpool who are eyeing up a late move for him before the window slams shut at 7pm this evening.

The Reds are currently without both Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley due to injuries so a move for a right-back would be high on their priorities for Deadline Day.
