Luka Jovic To Stay At Milan

Tier two ranked source Matteo Moretto has confirmed that AC Milan striker Luka Jovic will remain at the club next season despite rumours of his exit.

Jovic has been linked with a move away from the San Siro this summer after making 30 appearances last season and scoring just nine goals. This especially with rumours of AC Milan bringing in a new striker this transfer window.

But it has today been confirmed that the 26 year old will stay at the club as the backup striker next season.

Milan will still look to bring in a starting striker in the summer, following the exit of Olivier Giroud, but a deal has been struck between club and player over a new deal. A deal where Jovic is happy to play as the backup.

The Italian club will be happy to keep a player like Jovic around as he brings a lot of depth to their attack.

The agreement could be a big difference maker in Milan’s push on the title next season as they look to improve on what was a disappointing previous campaign.
