Manchester United Face Ten Hag Dilemma
Following their 3-0 thrashing away to Tottenham Hotspur, Erik ten Hag has been told he has just two games to save his position as Manchester United manager.
According to reports from The Sun, the Dutchman will need to prove his worth to the Red Devils in the upcoming matches against Porto and Aston Villa, in order to buy himself more time at Old Trafford.

Should he fail to convince the hierarchy of his managerial ability, The Mirror has revealed the exact figure it would cost The Red Devils to relieve Ten Hag from his position.
The amount needed to cancel Ten Hag’s contract is estimated to be around £17.5 million, which for context is more than what they paid to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.
Of course, if the Dutchman chose to walk away from his position, it would come at no cost to the United hierarchy.
While it’s only rumours at this stage, reports from The Daily Star suggest that United are considering Simone Inzaghi as a potential replacement for the Dutchman. Similarly, speaking to Sky Sports, Graham Potter announced he was “open to anything” when asked about the role.

After six games, United sit 13th in the Premier League table, and look a far cry from the once dominant threat they used to pose. However, speaking to Sky Sports, Patrice Evra stated that he’s “not worried” about United’s future should they stick with Ten Hag.
Ultimately, the decision falls up to Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS group, and which direction they’d like to take the club in. It’s a substantial fee, and with club legends still backing Ten Hag, it’s currently unclear whether the Dutchman’s future lies at Old Trafford.
