Manchester United Look at £35 Million Middlesbrough Star

One of Middlesbrough Star Players Has Cought the Eyes of Several Top Premier League Clubs

Middlesbrough have been having an incredible season so far as they look to return to the Premier League at the end of the season. One of the reasons behind their success in the rock that holds the line between defence and midfield, Hayden Hackney.

Hackney has enjoyed a very strong start to the season with 9 goal contributions from midfield so far this season. To add onto this, you get a midfielder who can do it all, defend, progress the ball both by passing and driving with it.

Based on a report from Sportsboomcom on X, several Premier League clubs have shown interest including, Fulham, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Manchester United.

Middlesbrough’s Stance on Him

While there are several clubs that are looking at him, he will be very difficult to pry away from Middlesbrough especially at this time in the transfer window. He has been such a vital part of their team that they will need him to secure promotion.

However, according to Sportsboomcom reports, Middlesbrough value him at £35 million. While this money could allow Boro to get someone who would improve the team and could allow them to invest in the team as a whole, it would damage their moral and lose them a vital part of the team. They will be fighting to keep him at the club for the next few hours.

Elsewhere in the Championship, West Bromwich Albion look to be getting ready to sell keeper Joseph Wildsmith after signing a new keeper this window.

It will take a lot for Boro to sell their 23-year-old midfield maestro however, the price tag that they have set might not scare teams off especially with the Premier League interest. It wouldn’t be a shock for them to see a team look to offer that money in order to land their magnificent midfielder this window.
