Manchester United Set Their Sights On Everton Defender

Everton have set a £75 million price tag on England youngster Jarrad Branthwaite amid rumours that he is on his way over to Manchester United.

Branthwaite has impressed this season despite the challenges that have befallen Everton with Sean Dyche has been singing his praises all year.

At his age and current ability, this is the perfect time for Jarrad to take the next step after recently making the provisional England squad for Euro 2024.

Southgate opting not to include him in the 26 man squad should not be something that fans judge Branthwaite on because he has been one of the best defenders in the league this season.

Tier 3 Football Park rated source, Manchester Evening News are suggesting that Branthwaite could be the first transfer of the new Ratcliffe era at Manchester United.

They have reported that United are more than willing to pay the high price tag as they know it will be worth it in the long run with Branthwaite fitting the model they want to use moving forward.

He has always been able to take his game to the next level each passing year, most notably once he returned from his loan spell at PSV, however his first couple months in a Manchester United shirt if he does move could be nervy given the pressure from the fans to deliver and the global stature of the club.
