Cozier-Duberry Set For Middlebsrough Loan Switch

Middlesbrough are seemingly closing in on a loan move for Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry as the North East side look to strengthen their wide options ahead of tonight's deadline, according to Alex Crook of talkSport.

The 21-year-old winger was a product of Arsenal's Hale End youth setup before joining the Seagulls in 2024 on a free transfer.

In 2025, the winger joined Bolton Wanderers on a loan move in EFL League One from the south coast club, shone for the Wanderers scoring ten goals and also assisting ten times in 41 appearances for the Whites as they earned promotion back to the second tier.

After that successful loan, Cozier-Duberry was the subject of many clubs across the EFL Championship as Brighton looked to secure another loan move away for the winger - with reportedly 12 clubs interested in his services, it appears Middlesbrough are set to win the race for Cozier-Duberry.

The Riverside Stadium side will still be hurting after a last-gasp playoff final defeat to Hull City, and they have worked hard on incomings to go one better this time around despite the loss of star midfielder and last season's Player of the Season Hayden Hackney to Everton - Will Lankshear was signed from Tottenham and has made an impressive start to life on Teeside with three goals in three games.

And now, it appears Cozier-Duberry will help add to the club's attacking options, as well as signing a new contract at Brighton before joining the club on a straight loan for the campaign. They will have to fight with Stoke City for his signature, but a link to the Potters has gone cold amidst the news that Sorba Thomas will likely stay around.
