Mike Williamson Leaves MK Dons For Carlisle United
After a start to the season that has seen MK Dons pick up just six points from six games, now former head coach Mike Williamson has left the club. Joining Carlisle United.

Williamson took charge of MK Dons in October 2023 and took them from 16th to a 4th place playoff finish.
The Dons would be beaten by eventual playoff winners Crawley Town 8-1 on aggregate however, keeping the Milton Keynes based side in EFL League Two for another season.
This season though Williamson has led the club to just two wins in six games. Considering the expectation placed on MK Dons this was nowhere near good enough.
And now Williamson has left the club joining fellow League Two side Carlisle United. Many suggesting he has left before he could be pushed out.

Williamson will most likely take charge of his first game for the Cumbrians this Saturday against Swindon Town as he looks to help turn around their poor start to the season. A start that has seen them pick up just three points from six games.
MK Dons on the other hand have a tough test against Doncaster Rovers with club legend Dean Lewington expected to take interim charge of the club as the search for a new boss begins.
