While only 19, Howland has seen and been around the first team this season including getting some minutes in the FA Cup against Premier League side Burnley. He has been on the bench for the majority of the season so hasn’t been able to gain much development as a result.
It looks like Millwall value him getting some experience over having him sat on the bench after sending him out on loan.
Millwall who currently sit in the promotion playoffs in the Championship have seen a move for Howland as an appropriate decision and the team that landed his signature was Barnet who are currently sitting 12th in League Two. Barnet will be hoping that he can help them push for those higher places and give them more depth in that attacking position.
Millwall will be hoping that he can get some time on the pitch for the remainer of the season and build up some experience playing in the first team. They will be hoping that the physicality and play time will help his development and him grow as a player ready for them next season.
Elsewhere in the Millwall, they have managed to keep one of their star players Femi Azeez after interest from other teams.
Jack Howland will spend the rest of the season at Barnet in League Two looking to develop his game and get more time on the pitch after limited minutes in the Championship for Millwall.
