The full-baclk has been having a good season for the Bundesliga club having shown his good defensive ability as well as ability when going forward. This has managed to get him a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest who took advantage of his only 6 months left on his contract.
It looks like they will be bringing him in as part of their plan to survive in the Premier League this season and make sure that they don’t get any closer to the drop. He could also play a important role in their run in the UEFA Europa League.
Nottingham Forest Get Amazing Deal for Luca Netz
With only 6 more months left on his contract it looked like he would be leaving the club in the summer, however, Nottingham Forest saw this as the perfect time to act and get the transfer done for him.
While they could’ve waited for those last 6 months and got him on a free, they would’ve faced competition from other team’s around Europe, or we could’ve seen him sign a contract extention that would’ve taken him off the market or increased his value.
