Out of favour Huddersfield Town striker Freddie Ladapo has reportedly been offered the chance to leave on a free transfer before the Monday deadline.
This comes after a tough season for the Nigerian which saw him only score one EFL Trophy goal in 25 appearances in all competitions across the campaign.
There has so far been no clubs step forward to secure Ladapo's services with the 32-year-old desperately trying to find a suitor before the transfer window comes to a close.
The Terriers' decision comes after a plethora of singings this summer have seen the clubs wage bill skyrocket as they look to regain their status as a Championship club this season.

This now means they are looking to offload those they deem 'surplus to requirements' in the final days of business, with Freddie Ladapo being one of those players.
Huddersfield only signed Ladapo last summer, beating off rivalling interest from a number of clubs, after the striker was told he would be allowed to leave his previous club Ipswich, also on a free transfer.
Ladapo was once a record signing for Rotherham United, joining the club for £500,000 in the 2019/2020 season.
The forward has had numerous prolific campaigns throughout his career, with his most fruitful coming in the form of a 21-goal haul for Ipswich Town in 23/24.

However, since that season Ladapo has struggled to both hit form, and find a home. A half-season loan of 14 appearances and just one goal preceded his spell of struggle at Huddersfield and, at this point in his career, it appears difficult for him to regain his goalscoring form.
