Premier League War Set to Commence for Fulham Star Man

Premier League Clubs Prepare to Race for Fulham Star

Fulham star Harry Wilson has been difficult to ignore this season, and now the likes of Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United are looking into his availability on a free transfer at the end of this season, according to Graeme Bailey.

The 28-year-old winger has been in electric form this term, netting seven and assisting four from his 19 Premier League starts so far this season, but the terms of his current contract may see him leave Craven Cottage free of charge at the end of the season.

As such, Everton are keeping tabs on his current situation in West London, and face stiff competition from the likes of Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland if they are to procure the ex-Liverpool youngster.

Premier League Race Set to Start With Wilson Deal Expiring

There is little doubt that Harry Wilson has always been a supremely talented individual - after all, few could forget his sensational campaign on loan at Derby County in the EFL Championship, nor his initial on-loan season with Fulham in England's second tier before making the move to Craven Cottage permanent after helping guide the club back into the Premier League.

This season, however, has seen the Wales star up his game to a whole new level, reaching a career-best G+A return (11) in the Premier League this season with just under half of the campaign still to come.

His contract in Fulham is set to expire at the end of the season, and that coupled with his fine form has put the Premier League on notice. Everton, Nottingham Forest, Sunderland and Leeds United are all amongst the chasing pack interested in bringing Wilson in on a free transfer this summer, as Graeme Bailey reports.

The chief club in this race appear to be Everton. They are well stocked in the winger department, with the likes of Iliman Ndiaye, Jack Grealish and Tyler Dibling among those currently plying their trade in Merseyside. However, Ndiaye has drawn plenty of interest of his own so far this season and it remains to be seen whether or not the Toffees will opt to bring Grealish in permanently from his Manchester City loan.

Nottingham Forest also have stock in that position - the big-money departure of Anthony Elanga to Newcastle in the summer, as well as Jota Silva and Ramon Sosa leaving the East Midlands, prompted the arrivals of Omari Hutchinson, Dan Ndoye and Dilane Bakwa on the flanks to pair with established star Callum Hudson-Odoi, but that group as a four have combined for just one more goal contribution in all competitions this season than Wilson has on his lonesome.

Fulham are (of course) trying to renew Wilson's contract in order to keep him at the club, but other sides around the Premier League are on red alert should they fail to do so.
