It's not often that you hear Fulham involved in the transfer talk, but they seem to have their sights set on an attacker who is making a name for himself in Europe.
With fellow striker Rodrigo Muniz struggling with injury setbacks, the Cottagers are in need of a prolific goalscorer, and this 22-year-old comes with a good track record of scoring goals on a regular basis this season.
🚨 Fulham have rekindled interest in PSV Eindhoven's 22-year-old USA striker Ricardo Pepi, who the Dutch club value at around £40M.

Ricardo Pepi is the name , and one that we are sure to hear a lot more about in the near future. The American international has enjoyed a fine start to the season at his current club, PSV, scoring seven goals in 14 league matches.
He has also proved his worth on the European stage, having tallied three Champions League goals (thus far) in his debut campaign. There is no surprise that clubs have shown interest in his services, and Fulham will have to fight off a host of opposition from fellow Premier League, Serie A, and Bundesliga clubs. PSV have reportedly stated that they have no interest in selling Pepi this window, but Fulham seems adamant, and money can do strange things to people's way of thinking.

The London club is crying out for a striker who is in the goals on a regular basis, and the supporting cast of Harry Wilson, Emile Smith Rowe, and Kevin means that Pepi will not be starved of service if he decides on the move. Raul Jimenez has been a solid servant for the club, but the Mexican continues to age, and it would be no surprise if this move was to cover their tracks if he decides to move on at the end of the season.
Marco Silva's side have been in strong form lately, and a potential push for European football could entice Pepi to prioritize a move to the club as opposed to a lengthy list of rivals. One thing for sure is that the form of Pepi is not just a 'purple patch'; the striker claimed 17 goals in 28 appearances for the Dutch side last season. Either way , this seems like a smart move for both Pepi and Fulham, and it will be interesting to see if they can get it over the line when the transfer window opens.
