
With only a few hours left of transfer deadline day, it appears some championship clubs are looking to make some late moves from others in the division, as Charlton Athletic, Norwich City and Derby County are reportedly looking at making a swoop for QPR midfielder Sam Field. Sam Field has been a key player over the last few years for QPR, the midfielder started every game during the 2022/23 season and has been a mainstay in the middle of the park at Loftus Road. However, this campaign has seen his minutes diminish slighty, only appearing in 19 Championship games and starting just nine.

It's understood the clubs are in advanced talks over a loan deal.

Despite the interest from Derby and Charlton, it looks like Norwich could be set to win the race for Field's signature, with reports from Sky Sports stating that the Canaries are in advanced talks with QPR over a move for the midfielder which would see the 27 year-old move to Carrow Road on a loan move until the end of the season.
