Rashford on course to make shock Premier League move

27/04/24 05:01

Marcus Rashford is having a tough season at Manchester United. With the collective failings of the team, many hoped that their star man would step up. Whilst he has had a decent season, it’s been nowhere near enough to rescue his side from a disappointing campaign.

The Englishman has had his fair share of criticism from the fans and the media. It has gotten to the point where Rashford made a post on social media platform “X” saying : “ I appreciate your support! It is abuse and has been for months. Enough is enough.” It seems like Rashford might be becoming tired of being the scapegoat and could look for a move away from his beloved Red Devils in the summer.

As per reports, Arsenal could have a serious shot at signing him, should the 26 year old decide to leave Manchester. The Gunners are looking for a player that could elevate their attack to another level. They are set to lose another title race to Man City and some experts think it’s because they lack a difference maker in attack. This is why the Englishman could be a serious topic in North London during the transfer window. Arteta is clearly building something special at Arsenal and that could make a switch very attractive for the Englishman.

Rashford has publicly stated his desire to play in Spain in the future and that could be a possibility for a move as well, considering that Barcelona are looking to sign a star winger this summer. After their shambolic season, the Blaugranas will look to strengthen their side as their arch rivals are preparing to add Kylian Mbappe to their ranks this summer. However, any move would have to cheap and financially viable for the Catalans to be able to think about it.

At the moment, Rashford is focused on ending the season well with Man United, with a cup final against Manchester City set to take place. Any talks for his future would have to take place after the end of the season and at the moment, it’s unlikely that Manchester United would be willing to sell him, especially to a direct rival in the Premier League. It’s definitely a situation to watch out for in the upcoming transfer window.
