Real Madrid Interested in Signing Cristian Romero

Real Madrid Enquire About Romero

Tottenham defender Christian Romero has been the centre of discussion for Real Madrid as they look to replace their aging back line.

The news comes from ESPN Argentina who Football Park rank a tier two in terms of source reliability.

The deal would cost Los Blancos around €60 million according to his market value evaluation by Transfermarkt.

The Argentinian has really stepped up this season playing 33 matches, starting all of them. He also popped up with five goals from 2,792 minutes in the Premier League.

His disciplinary record has greatly improved as he has received just seven yellow cards and one red card in all competitions this year, compared to nine and two respectively in the previous season.

With Madrid losing Nacho Fernandez, Romero is an ideal replacement and could find himself in Ancelotti’s starting 11 sooner than people expect as Eder Militao is only just coming back from a cruciate ligament tear and David Alaba is quite injury prone, missing 37 games for club and country this season with various injuries.
