Rising Championship Baller Linked with Move to Mourinho’s Fenerbahce

Football Park can reveal that Hull City’s Jadon Philogene has been linked with a transfer to Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The 22-year-old English winger, has been admired by the staff at the Turkish giants for some time, especially by that of former Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim, who’s now running for the presidency once more.

As per Transfermarkt, Philogene is currently valued at €15,000,000 (£12,700,000), and is contracted with Hull until the summer of 2026.

The winger is an exciting young prospect in the Championship, the same league that has produced European winning players like Jude Bellingham, Jack Grealish and Jarrod Bowen to name a few.

Philogene signed for Hull City last summer from Aston Villa for £5,000,000. The largest fee paid by the Tigers since their Premier League days back in the mid 2010s. After a few loans from Villa following his senior debut in 2019, Philogene was in high demand, and Hull jumped at the opportunity.

2023/24 was his first season at Hull, and Philogene was one of the best players at the club. Contributing a very impressive 18 goals in the league, with 12 conversions and six assists.

You may know him though from his insane rabona goal against Rotherham in February.

Fenerbahce, now under the management of Jose Mourinho, are looking to bounce-back from losing the Turkish Super Lig title last season, despite achieving 99 points. Amongst experienced players such as Ryan Kent (27), Edin Džeko (38), Susan Tadic (35) and Michy Batshuayi (30), the pace and agility of Philogene could be the exact threat they’re after.

As Mourinho looks to dominate the Turkish top-flight, could Philogene be his first signing as Fenerbahce manager?
