Scotland U21 Striker Set For Loan Move

Football Park can reveal that Scotland U21 forward Bobby Wales has attracted interest from various clubs in EFL League One.

Wales progressed through the Kilmarnock academy before impressing out on loan at Alloa Athletic, scoring 12 goals in 25 league appearances. Last season, he broke through into Kilmarnock’s first team, and scored five goals, including one in the Conference League. His performances caught the attention of Swansea City, where he signed ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Since the move, Wales has had a mix of game time in the first team and academy, with his most notable performance coming in the EFL Cup vs Crawley Town, where he scored and assisted in a 3-1 win.

Now, The Swans are ready to allow Wales to go out on loan, with three top-end League One clubs enquiring about the possibility of a loan deal, as well as a team lower down the League One table also interested.

It will now be up to all interested parties to evaluate the best opportunity for Wales and see what assurances can be made on guaranteed minutes for the 20-year-old, who has played just 22 minutes in the Championship so far.
