Scottish Manchester City Youngster Secures EFL Loan

20-year-old Emilio Lawrence has secured a move to League One Luton Town according to Fabrizio Romano on X.

The Scottish winger started in Everton’s academy, before signing for Manchester City in November 2022. He has progressed rapidly and has starred in Scotland’s youth teams, including scoring 4 goals in one game vs Gibraltar in a 12-0 win. Lawrence has Scotland fans keeping a close eye on him, as he provides pace and trickery that has been a rarity in Scotland sides for a long time.

Luton Town currently sit 8th in League One and are hoping to gain promotion right back to the Championship after their back-to-back relegations. They are currently just four points off the playoffs and a Lawrence could be a vital edition if he can contribute with goals and assists.
