23-year-old Josh Mulligan has been a revelation at Hibs this season, since choosing to join the Hibees over Rangers at the conclusion of his contract at Dundee. His performances this season has now caught the eye of clubs down south and abroad, with Leeds, Nottingham Forrest, Lille, and Wolsburg all registering interest according to Sébastien Denis at Foot Mercato.

With Mulligan still having three and a half years on his contract, it will take a reasonably large fee in relation to Hibs past sales to convince the Leith side to sell the promising midfielder. With some in the fanbase even comparing Mulligan to John McGinn, it would be extremely interesting to see what he could do in Europe.

With a good move, it could move himself to the forefront of Steve Clarke’s mind ahead of the World Cup next summer, and provide yet more midfield options.
