Serie A Side Set To Enter Osmajic Transfer War

Another side have entered the bidding war for Preston North End Striker Milutin Osmajic. Serie A side Cremonese add to the already existing flurry of clubs who are in for the Montenegrin forward, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Osmajic has already scored 3 goals in 3 appearances so far in the Championship this season, tied as the league's top scorer.

Cremonese, who beat AC Milan on the opening day of the Serie A season, are about to ready a bid for the player despite claims that Preston would want a fee of £20 million.

Multiple Clubs Circling For The Montenegrin

As we reported last week, former La Liga Champions Deportiva La Coruna have shown an interest in signing Osmajic.

Lancashire Post have also reported that Serie A Clubs Sassuolo and Lecce are also interested in the player.

It's no surprise that Preston's striker has attracted all this attention from clubs throughout Europe's top leagues. Osmajic has scored 26 goals and registered 5 assists in 82 appearances for The Lilywhites. If he were to move elsewhere, it's no doubt he would be a goalscoring threat.

Big Loss For Preston?

Preston losing their talisman would obviously be a big miss. He has been one of the standout strikers in the Championship ever since his move from Cadiz in 2023.

Preston do however have a lot of depth in the striker position. Will Keane is a competent goalscorer, whilst Daniel Jebbison could bounce back on loan to The Lilywhites despite a few underwhelming campaigns.

If Preston were to accrue £20 million for Osmajic, you would expect they would at least be able to a spend a percentage of that on a brand new striker to replace him.
