According to reports from Matteo Moretto, who Football Park rate as a tier one source, Saul Niguez is set to sign for Sevilla.

The midfielder has been at Atletico since joining their youth ranks from rivals Real Madrid, in 2010. However, he is set to terminate his contract with Atleti in order to join Sevilla.

Saul still has two years remaining on his current contract, and despite a successful season where he made five assists, all parties are willing to make the deal happen.

The Spaniard did briefly look to be joining Chelsea in 2021, where he signed on loan with a €35 million permanent option, but after an underwhelming stint headed back to his parent club for another two years.

At just 29, and clearly possessing a lot of talent given he formerly represented Spain at international level, Sevilla have earned themselves a coup.
