Sheffield United had a miserable start to the season, losing their first six league games. They are looking to strenghten in this transfer window with the hopes of climbing into the top half of the table.
The Blades had numerous players on their summer wishlist, and look set to revist one of them in Cardiff starlet Cian Ashford. At just 21 years of age, the Welshman has impressed, netting 4 goals and 3 assists in all competitons.
Ashford has been a constant in this young Cardiff side, making over 60 appearances in the last year and a half, an achivement that does not happen often.

The Blades currently sit 17th in the table, and with the side they had heading into the start of the season, it just seems unfathomable.
With the likes of Gustavo Hamer, Patrick Bamford and Callum O'Hare, many expected this side to be challenging for the title or promotion.
If we look at the situation for Ashford, is this move worth a gamble, or should he stay put at his boyhood club where is adored.

Cardiff sit top of League One, by 6 points and have been unstoppable this season. Starting in 17 league games, so Ashford really want to leave and head to a team where he will not be gauranteed a starting spot every week.
Sheffield will be lucky to get the 21 year-olds signature, and if they don't then you can expect many more teams to be sniffing around come the summer transfer window.
