Sheffield Wednesday are looking into making a move for Manchester City starlet Jaden Heskey in this winter transfer window, according to information from The Star.
With the transfer market closing on February the 2nd and with Henrik Pedersen's side becoming threadbare after injury issues, the need to bring in new faces at Hillsborough is paramount - as such, the club are looking to sign the talented Heskey on terms similar to those that brought Manchester United fullback Harry Amass to Sheffield in the summer, which saw him join on loan for the season with the Red Devils covering most of the cost.
Though relegation is a bygone conclusion at this stage for Sheffield Wednesday, they will still be looking into any options of reinforcement they can find as they window gets underway.

Sheffield Wednesday are interested in pursuing a move for Manchester City starlet Jaden Heskey in this winter transfer window.
Jaden, the son of iconic former Liverpool and England striker Emile, made his senior club debut under Pep Guardiola earlier this season, coming off of the bench to help see out a 2-0 away win against Huddersfield Town.

Man City are understood to be keen on green-lighting a loan move for Heskey this January, with the club keen on him receiving regular minutes in a senior first-team setup. Heskey has been the Under-21's captain for Manchester City this season in Premier League 2.
The young star has yet to make another appearance for the Man City first team and has not yet made his Premier League bow, but he earned a reputation within the ranks at the Etihad as a player to keep a lookout for.
Sheffield Wednesday, who are chasing new signings for their attack and midfield this window, could be the right place for him to go. Despite their struggles, the Owls have provided an excellent base for Manchester United's Amass.
