Spain’s Euros Star Who Has A Notable Release Clause
Spain’s Dani Olmo has got a £51 million release clause in his RB Leipzig contract this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, who Football Park ranks as a tier one source.
Olmo is currently the joint-top scorer in this year’s European Championships, having scored three goals thus far. One of which was the decisive goal in Spain’s 2-1 semi-final victory against France on Tuesday night.
The release clause is valid until July 15th.

Throughout his senior career, Olmo has only represented two sides at club level. After representing both Espanyol and Barcelona at youth level, the Spaniard joined Croation side Dinamo Zagreb on a free transfer in 2014.
The midfielder was initially acquired with the intention of starting out in the club’s second team, however this was not always the case.
Midway through his first season in Croatia, Olmo was featuring occasionally for the first team, coming off the bench in several league games.
The midfielder followed up his promising debut campaign with an extended run in the second side until he finally became a first team regular at the tail end of the 2016/17 season.
During the next three seasons, Olmo scored 19 goals in 60 league games, earning him his first international call-up in November 2019. The midfielder came off the bench to score against Malta on his debut and shortly after moved to RB Leipzig for a £25 million fee.
Only three players completed 20+ take-ons and created 20+ chances in the 2018-19 Europa League:

Despite joining the club with only half the season remaining, Olmo featured in 13 Bundesliga games during the 2019/20 campaign, contributing to four goals in the process.
Alongside this, the Spaniard scored in his first UEFA Champions League appearance for RB Leipzig as they toppled Atletico Madrid to reach the semi-finals of the competition. In the time since, Olmo has been a consistent performer in Germany, averaging nine league goal contributions per season.
To this day, Olmo continues to be a regular for the Spanish national team and has been one of the country’s standout performers in their run to the final of Euro 2024.
Dani Olmo is the first ever Spanish player to score in three consecutive knockout round games at a major international tournament.
